Dawn Carr

Dawn Carr, PhD, graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a doctoral degree in Social Gerontology in 2009. Her research focuses on the barriers to active aging, with particular focus on topics such as the third age, retirement, productive aging, social capital, artistic engagement, and caregiving. During her term as a CPHAR Fellow, she is working under the mentorship and guidance of Victor Marshall.
