Carolina Program in Health and Aging Research (CPHAR)The UNC Institute on Aging offers predoctoral and postdoctoral training opportunities through its Carolina Program in Health and Aging Research (CPHAR). The program is supported by a National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Training Grant from the National Institute on Aging. Potential applicants should carefully examine the list of mentors and their specialties, as all applicants must be matched to a mentor. CPHAR is not able to mentor in the biological science area. Applicants for fellowship support must be either US citizens or recognized by the US Department of state as "permanent residents" of the United States. Applications are no longer being accepted. Information for the 2013 CPHAR program will be posted in December 2012. Application InformationProgram Information
