Overhead Sharing Policy
Note 6/15/07: The overhead sharing policy agreement has been revised to address applications that are submitted to Foundations, or any funding agency that does not allow the University to charge its full indirect cost rate, currently 46%.
Note: On April 11, Vice-Chancellor Tony Waldrop announced that UNC has adopted a new policy, which is to be used as a 'fall-back' policy when investigators and unit administrators on multi-unit grants fail to reach agreement. This policy is found at http://research.unc.edu/osr/documents/f_a_implementation.pdf. Investigators planning to submit research proposals through the Institute on Aging should consult with the Associate Director for Research, Dr. Jennifer Craft Morgan, well in advance of the submission date.
