Workforce aging in the new economy

Progress Update

February 2006

The WANE team leaders and project coordinators met in Melbourne, Australia to update each other on progress and issues and to make plans for the remainder of the project period.

In addition to the team leader meeting, a WANE symposium was held bringing together Swinburne University Officials, Australian Government representatives, IT firm owners and managers, the international team scholars and interested Swinburne community members. This symposium consisted of presentations from each of the four international teams and a lively panel discussion with the IT owner/managers.

Podcasts of this event will soon be available on the Swinburne Business, Work and Ageing website: http://www.businessworkageing.org/events.html
