Workforce aging in the new economy

The Workforce Aging in the New Economy (WANE) research project explores the relationships among workforce aging, employment growth in information technology (IT) labour markets, and the transformation of employment relations in the new economy. The WANE Project is an multi-national collaboration, and the U.S. component is based here at the UNC Institute on Aging under the direction of Victor Marshall, PhD.

WANE is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada through its Initiative on the New Economy Program.
