Deadline for IOA Pilot Research Program Submissions Extended, Due 1/31/12

The submission deadline for the IOA pilot research program call for proposals has been extended to January 31, 2012 at midnight.

The 2012 Pilot Research Program is administered and funded by the UNC Institute on Aging with support from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. The program is open to junior investigators (individuals that do not have a substantial funding record) currently engaged in aging research or seeking to change or expand their research into aging. The IOA will fund 4 awards, with at least one award per program emphasis in Aging and Diversity, Healthy Aging and Workforce Aging. Each award will total up to $20,000.
