NC Conference on Aging Issues 2011 Call for Presentations

The 2011 North Carolina Conference on Aging Executive Committee has issued a Call for Presentations to all those wishing to make a presentation at this year's Conference. Abstracts should be submitted online; the online submission process is described on the conference website.

Following the very successful 2010 Governor's Conference on Aging and production of the 2011-2015 State Aging Services Plan, the 2011 Conference will focus on the theme "The Community Response: Implementing the Plan for a Livable, Senior Friendly North Carolina" and will be held October 18-20 at the Hilton Charlotte University Place Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The North Carolina Conference on Aging is a collaborative effort to develop a professional conference to provide educational and networking opportunities for anyone interested in long-term care, vital aging, family issues, work and retirement, leadership, and professional development. Realizing the diverse nature of this task, we have made a deliberate effort to include local, regional and state-level service providers, educators, students, consumers, volunteers, clients, caregivers, policymakers, and administrators.
