These Policy Roundtables are being produced by the Office of the Governor, the NC Division of Aging and Adult Services, the UNC Institute on Aging and the state's Area Agencies on Aging and are intended to identify public policy issues in aging, develop policy recommendations and continue the work of developing public/private partnerships to meet the challenges of an aging society.

There are two ways to participate in the roundtables:

-or-

If you are not able to attend a particular event, but still want your thoughts included, submit your input online. (Please do not complete the online survey if you plan on attending the same event.)

The issues and ideas identified at each of the round tables will be summarized to lay the groundwork for a Governor's Conference on Aging planned for Oct. 13 - 15, 2010 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Conference Center. At the conference, participants will develop policy recommendations and continue the work of developing public/private partnerships to meet the challenges of an aging society. The work of the policy round tables and Governor's Conference will inform and be reflected in the 2011-2015 State Aging Plan.
