Institute on Aging to have Prominent Presence at Gerontological Society of America Annual Meeting

The Institute on Aging will have a significant presence at the Gerontologicial Society of America (GSA) 62nd Annual Meeting to be held November 18-22 in Atlanta, GA. Peggye Dilworth-Anderson, Interim Co-Director of the IOA and Professor in the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, will be inducted as the new President of GSA. Mary Palmer, Interim Co-Director of the IOA and Helen W. & Thomas L. Umphlet Distinguished Professor in Aging in the UNC School of Nursing, will chair the Fellows Committee and coordinate the Fellows Mentor Program during the meeting.
