IOA Announces Availability of Research Stimulus Grants in Aging

The UNC Institute on Aging invites applications for the 2008 Research Stimulus Grants in Aging program. This will be the third year that the grants have been offered. The goal of the program is to build greater strength in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary aging research on the UNC Chapel Hill campus. Proposals are welcome from any and all departments and schools at UNC at Chapel Hill. Applicants should be a member of the regular faculty in any UNC department or school, of any rank, or a permanent EPA non-faculty employee working at the University in research capacity.

This year grants will be again be awarded to faculty who will use the funds to build interdisciplinary teams and develop research proposals in aging. Letters of intent are due by May 5, 2008 for those interested.
