IOA Announces Availability of Research Stimulus Grants in Aging

March 5, 2007

The UNC Institute on Aging invites applications for the 2007 Research Stimulus Grants in Aging program. This will be the second year that the grants have been offered, building on a successful launch last year. In 2006, four grants were awarded to investigators from across the UNC Chapel Hill campus. The goal of the program is to build greater strength in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary aging research on the UNC Chapel Hill campus.

This year, up to four grants will be again be awarded to UNC Chapel Hill faculty who will use the funds to build interdisciplinary teams and develop research proposals in aging. Letters of intent are due by April 2, 2007 for those interested.
