News ReleaseRegistration Open for 2005 NCCOA ConferenceMay 27, 2005 The PreProgram/Registration booklet for the 2005 NCCOA conference which will be held at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center and the Sheraton Grand Hotel, October 19-21, 2005, is now available on the conference web site at: http://www.aging.unc.edu/nccoa. This year's Conference theme is "Research and Practice for Well-being in an Aging Society." Conference tracks will include: Community Development and Social Engagement, Economic Development, Health, Income Security and Retirement, Family and Intergenerational Relations, Gender, Race and Class, Elder Rights, Personal Security and Protection. The North Carolina Conference on Aging is a collaborative effort to develop a professional conference to provide educational and networking opportunities for anyone interested in long-term care, vital aging, family issues, work and retirement, leadership, and professional development.
