News ReleaseCelebrate Careers in Aging Week April 5-9March 30, 2004 The third annual "Careers in Aging Week" will take place April 5-9, 2004. Sponsored by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) and The Gerontological Society of America (GSA), the purpose of this week is to introduce the wide-ranging career opportunities that exist in aging and aging research. To help recognize Careers in Aging Week, the IOA would like to highlight our Guide to Learning About Careers in Aging. This online guide contains links to descriptions of different career options, web sites with aging-related job listings, and references to materials for further information. If you are aware of other Careers in Aging events happening in North Carolina, you are invited to post them to our Community Bulletin Board where we have created a special category ("Careers in Aging Week") for this information.
