Center on Minority Aging renamed

August 12, 2003

The Center on Minority Aging, based at the UNC Institute on Aging, has a new name. It is now known as the Center for Aging and Diversity.

Dr. Peggye Dilworth-Anderson has been named as the Director of the renamed Center. Dr. Dilworth-Anderson is also the Associate Director for Aging and Diversity at the Institute, and Professor of Health Policy and Administration in the UNC School of Public Health.

The Center was previously led by Dr. Elizabeth Mutran, who retired in July 2003.

The web site address (URL) for the Center for Aging and Diversity has changed and is now located at http://www.aging.unc.edu/cad/. It is currently under construction.
