News ReleasePre-doctoral Position Available at IOAJanuary 8, 2003 The Carolina Program in Healthcare and Aging Research, of the University of North Carolina Institute on Aging, announces a pre-doctoral opening, to begin as early as May 1, 2003, but no later than Septmeber 30, 2003. The Carolina Program in Healthcare and Aging Research (CPHAR) is supported by a National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Training Grant from the National Institute on Aging, of the National Institutes of Health. Applications are welcome from persons with a background in public health, in behavioral and social science and in clinical programs offering training supportive of a research career in health, health care, and aging. Minority persons are especially encouraged to apply. Interested applicants or mentors should contact Victor W.
