Geriatrics Practice Conference January 17-18 in Chapel Hill

The 13th Annual Challenges in Geriatrics Practice Conference is scheduled for January 17-18, 2002. The conference will be held at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill. Educational sessions will provide practical information for dealing with common clinical challenges encountered when caring for older patients. Emphasis will be on an interdisciplinary approach to geriatric health care. It is jointly sponsored by the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Dentistry of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Institute on Aging, and the Geriatric Education Training Alliance.
