Aging and Health course to be offered in Fall 2001

The IOA will again offer a three-credit multidisciplinary course in Aging and Health at UNC Chapel Hill during the fall semester. The course content has been updated and revised and features lectures from diverse faculty across campus. More details are available from the course web site.

The Aging and Health course is designed to provide students of all disciplines with a general background in aging and problems of older persons. It is open to
undergraduate juniors and seniors, and to graduate students in all disciplines.

This year's coursemaster is Philip Sloane, MD, with help from co-coursemasters Sheryl Zimmerman, Ph.D. and and Leigh Callahan, Ph.D.
