DeFriese Awards Presented

Victor Marshall, Director of the UNC Institute on Aging, presented the first annual Gordon H. DeFriese Career Development in Aging Research Awards on December 7, 2000. Recipients of the awards were Sheryl I. Zimmerman and Joseph P. Sharkey (pictured below). More information about the award recipients is available from the original news release.
