Rosalie Kane to present Distinguished Lecture

New Information: Dr. Kane will also present a lecture in Wilmington, NC on January 22, 2001 entitled, "Getting a Long-Term Care System We Can Live With (and in): Towards User-Friendly Long-Term Care" at 2:00pm in King Hall Auditorium, UNC Wilmington.

Rosalie A. Kane will present a lecture in the ongoing Distinguished Lecture Series at the Institute on Aging. Her lecture entitled, "In The Eye of the Beholder: Quality of Life for Long Term Care Consumers," will be presented at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23 in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center in Chapel Hill.

The program will also include the Annual Poster Symposium on Aging. The Poster Symposium features the work of researchers who have received grants from the Institute on Aging and its Center on Minority Aging.

Dr. Kane is a Professor in the Division of Health Services Research & Policy and Director of the National Long-Term Care Resource Center at the University of Minnesota.
