News ReleaseRobyn I. Stone to present two lectures on December 7November 2, 2000 Robyn I. Stone will present the next lecture in the ongoing Distinguished Lecture Series at the Institute on Aging. Her lecture entitled, The Future of the Long-Term Care Workforce: It's Not "Just the Economy, Stupid!", will be presented at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7 in the Bellflower Room at The Friday Center in Chapel Hill. The program will also include a recognition ceremony for the First Annual Gordon H. DeFriese Career Development Awards In Aging Research. A reception will follow in the Willow Lounge. Earlier that same day, Dr. Stone will present another lecture, co-sponsored by the IOA and the North Carolina Division on Aging, titled Integrating Supportive Services into Family Caregiving. The program will also include award presentations. This event is scheduled for 9am-12:30pm in the Legislative Building Auditorium (3rd Floor), 16 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC. Admission is free. Dr. Stone is an Associate Professor of Geriatrics & Adult Development and Dept. of Health Policy at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
