Fifth Annual Summer Symposium on Aging Call for Proposals

February 10, 2000

The 2000 Program Committee invites submissions for this
summer's symposium on "Gender, Race and Class: Enduring
Inequalities in Later Life." Priority is given to proposals that
address the conference theme, and that suggest ways to
increase quality of life for older North Carolinians, their families
and communities. Proposals that illustrate collaboration
between academic institutions and the practice community are
also especially welcomed. Formats include Poster Session or
15-minute Research Briefs and Practice Cameos. Proposals
for hour-long, multiple-presenter Research Briefs or Practice
Cameos on interrelated topics will also be considered. We
invite you to submit proposals on innovative practices or
research findings on the form below. Presenters will receive a
discounted registration fee. A copy of the Proposal Form can
