UNC Aging Research Retreat

Disciplinary Depth; Multidisciplinary Breadth; Interdisciplinary Linkages

Retreat Follow-up & Updates

Progress Report: The Retreat as a Process
A report based on input from the retreat will be submitted to Dr. Tony Waldrop, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Economic Development around mid-February. Based on input from the retreat presentations and small group feedback, the report will be authored by IOA Director Victor W. Marshall and CAH Director Jan Busby-Whitehead, reviewed by the retreat planning committee and revised. The report will address the issues of what are the university's major strengths in aging research, what organization and other resources would enhance our research efforts, and how to optimize large-scale interdisciplinary aging research efforts on this campus.

Further updates will be posted to this webpage.
