Aging and Health

The UNC Institute on Aging offers Aging and Health, an interdisciplinary course designed to provide students of all disciplines with a general background in aging and problems of older persons. More information is available from the Aging and Health web site.

Aging and Public Policy

This IOA-sponsored course is housed in the School of Social Work (SOWO 266), and is cross-listed in several other departments. It is open to graduate students from any discipline with permission of instructor. More information is available from the most recent course syllabus.

Introduction to Aging

This IOA-sponsored one-credit course is housed in the Department of Sociology (SOC065). It is open to undergraduate students from any discipline. It meets every other week and is highly computer interactive and web-based, requiring that students bring laptops to class.
