Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care in Diverse Populations

The Center for Aging and Diversity supports efforts to address the special issues related to Alzheimer's Disease and dementia in diverse populations.

Affiliation with Alzheimer's Association

The Center for Aging and Diversity participates in activities at the national level related to Alzheimer's Disease.

Dr. Peggye Dilworth-Anderson, the Director of the Center for Aging and Diversity, is a member of the national Alzheimer's Association Board of Directors, and she serves on two committees: 1) Program, Public Health and Social Policy; and 2) Chapter Relations. She also serves as Chair of the Oversight Committee for Diversity and Social and Behavioral Research, which is under the direction of Dr. William Thies, VP, Medical and Scientific Affairs at the national Alzheimer's Association.
