Social & behavioral research on Alzheimer's Disease and dementia in diverse populations: An Online bibliographyIntroductionThe social and behavioral research related to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia reflects the diversity of the dementia patient and caregiving experience as well as the complexity of interventions and study approaches for this population. This online bibliography offers a comprehensive snapshot of the research. A myriad of articles are presented that highlight the unique experiences of the assortment of racial, ethnic, and cultural groups across the globe. While some studies focus on the caregiver, others center on the caregiving recipient. Patient-centered research has focused on every point of the dementia experience continuum, ranging from risk factors and diagnosis to treatment and quality of life. Many of the articles focus on the research process, including interventions and outreach programs, study recruitment and retention issues, and evaluation tools. Contents:
