Diane Wurzinger

Program Manager
Program Coordinator, Carolina Program for Healthcare and Aging Research
Conference Coordinator, North Carolina Conference on Aging

Diane Wurzinger has been with the Institute on Aging since June of 1999. She came to the Institute with an extensive office/administrative background gained through more than 25 years of experience. Diane's responsibilities include: Coordinating the annual North Carolina Conference on Aging, the Institute's Distinguished Lecture Series, and the Certificate in Aging Seminar Series, as well as all other symposia, lectures, seminars and research meetings held by the Institute. She also serves as Program Manager for the Carolina Program in Healthcare and Aging Research pre-and post-doctoral training, is responsible for supervision of temporary employees, public contact and scheduling, composition of written materials, maintenance of client databases, office equipment operation, the IOA equipment loan program, and serves as parking coordinator for the Institute.

An interest in aging-related issues, as a result of caring for an elderly relative, makes the Institute a meaningful and interesting place to be.
