Cheryl Thompson, BA
Project Manager
Since she joined the IOA in 2001, Cheryl A. Thompson has acquired over 7 years of experience in program evaluation research and a growing portfolio in data management. Previously, she has served as a research assistant and data manager for the WIN A STEP UP and Better Jobs, Better Care Applied Research (STEP UP NOW) projects at the IOA. Cheryl serves as project manager for the Workforce Issues in Library and Information Science (WILIS) studies and is involved in the North Carolina Collaboration on Lifelong Learning & Engagement (NCCoLLE).
She is pursuing a Master's in Information Science at UNC School of Information and Library Science and is interested in information systems, data management and survey methodology.
