Danielle Borasky, MLS

Associate Director, Library and Information Services

Danielle Borasky is the Associate Director for Library and Information Services at the UNC Institute on Aging. She joined the Institute in 2000 and established its first library, including a web-based digital library. The Information Center has grown to include a rich set of resources and services and serves as a central gateway to aging-related information in North Carolina.

Danielle also manages the Institute’s web presence, including the IOA website as well as other websites for projects affiliated with the Institute. She has developed and managed numerous web-based projects, including websites, interactive web resources, and interactive online educational modules. In one recent project, she developed the technical aspects of five online training modules for the NCOA’s Introduction to Health Promotion for Older Adults Series. Danielle received her MLS from the UNC School of Information and Library Science, and a BA from Syracuse University.
